Or maybe it's working exactly as intended. Energy is stifled. Curiosity is silenced. And being different is punished. Kids these days leave our public education system with twisted values, mental health disorders, and the ability to memorize "facts" but not actually learn anything on their own. Parents lose their authority and even their rights over what their child is learning. At Acreage Learning we hope to empower kids and young adults to feel confident as they enter the real world, with homeschool and supplemental STEM education parents can trust.

What will my child be learning?
At Acreage Learning we aim to empower young minds to understand The Scientific Method at its core. Through this method, children will learn how to think, how to test their ideas, and how to form their own opinions of the world around them, with scientific fundamentals that support scripture, not compete with it. Our group classes inspire children to learn how to work as a team, adopt effective communication and conflict resolution skills, and learn how engineering developmental processes work in real life. We do all this through aerospace education tailored to be age appropriate.
What is The Scientific Method?
The Scientific Method is an empirical method for acquiring knowledge through careful observation, rigorous skepticism, hypothesis testing, and experimental validation.
Are these lessons online or in-person?
We currently offer both in person 1:1 tutoring as well as group classes and camps. Once in a while we will have a live online class. But, fully interactive, self-paced online courses are coming soon!
What type of experiments will my child be doing?
Your child will learn to test the laws God created for our world through chemical reactions, kinematics, and hands-on building. Examples include baking soda & vinegar rockers, fluid density layering, smoke windtunnel visualization, foam board gliders, and flight testing RC aircraft.
What is included in cost?
The cost for group and/or 1:1 classes includes class time with the instructor, experimental supervision and guidance, all supplies, and take home projects.
